Scarlett’s and Tootsie’s got together for a good cause.

Category 4 winds from Hurricane Irma hit the Keys just before 9am on September 10th. Fierce winds and water surge destroyed many homes in the Keys. Many evacuated and returned only to find total destruction.

One Family in Pine Key finally returned after two weeks only to find their home completely destroyed. Everything was lost, clothes, furniture, family memorabilia. This family was left homeless.

This was the common story with many families across Florida. It affected all of us so Tootsie’s and Scarlett’s decided to come together for a golf charity event to see how many families could be helped. The event occurred at Emerald Hills Country Club in Hollywood and over 100 players showed up to support Florida Irma victims in need. Vendors, players and staff came together for a good game and a good time. The event raised over $10,000 for the victims and Tootsies hosted a party for the players after the game. The donations were split between the Red Cross and to the family who lost their home in Pine Key.

Thanks Tootsies and Scarletts!
